Just spent a night out on the tiles... it's all children making fools of themselves.. Where is the Dreamtime? The middle era? The gap? The game? Where reality fuses with fantasy? I see boys talking to girls.. Where do the Women meet the Men?

I dance, I love, I fight, I care, I give a fuc*, I have fire, I have honour, passion and fury... Where are you?

Ahh, you just need to find your crowd, I felt like this, until I found a venue full of "adults" mostly 30+ types. If I get to go out (rarely) this is my place of choice now x

Op I think I understand what you're getting at and in ways I've felt like that too

You need to learn to say what you want and not be the one looking after everyone else. They will be fine.

Do something for you and then when you aren't busy over thinking you never know what might be possible

Try some of the nicer pubs, depends where you are but we have a great pub not far from us.

Live bands on a Thursday night, not our scene but it’s always busy.

There and to the left a bit

Easy GK, use Lemonrock, find a band playing locally who are up your musical street and go see them - likelihood is the crowd will be on your wavelength at least musically and if they're not at least you've got to hear live music

I grow old ... I grow old ...

I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.

Shall I part my hair behind?

Do I dare to eat a peach?

I shall wear white flannel trousers, and walk upon the beach.

I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each.

I do not think that they will sing to me.

I get this. I like rock music but often end up out with mates who are into more mainstream. Becomes very tedious. But i get my revenge when they come along with me to a good gig. And if i find a mosh pit then the look on their faces is hilarious

It's a bloody marvel - most bands on there list the type of music they play or lists of songs they do - it's mostly pubs, and therefore free (well apart from the beer ) - have had a few good night's out as a result
