What food/s do you crave when you’ve got your period, ladies? Or did you used to? Or what food/drink do you have or actions do you take to alleviate any pains/general discomfort? Menfolk, have you noted any particularly helpful strategies from observing/assisting your close wimminfolk, be it sisters, mothers, daughters, buddies or partners?

Yours crampingly.

Bananananananas!

Erm I want the carbs. So potato pizza, pasta with garlic bread. All the carbs. With cheese. Bowls of comfort wrapped in love and self care. When I'm really awfully cramping food makes me ill so I tend to stick to smoothies.

Prior to my period I want bread, good bread, during my period I have no appetite but do crave hot chocolate.

Right now I'm experiencing bad cramps and backache because of my period so it's gentle exercise, hot water bottle and taking it easy

This, not that ANYONE in the lounge takes any notice of anything I post. Sigh.
