Which generation of kids/family movies were better? The ones from the generation back in the 80s and 90s or the ones from today's generation of the 2000s and 2010s?

As much as there are some good kids/family movies today, there certainly are a load of crap movies so I personally think the older movies are better.

I agree. I think the movies from the 80s and 90s went that extra step that had kids either excited or hiding behind the sofa whereas moviemakers today don't want to go that far when making their movies because they don't want to frighten children.

I think the problem with kids/family movies today is they're too PC which is what makes them crap.

Gotta love all them classic family movies of the 80s.

It's a shame that today's family movies are either crappy remakes or crappy CGI cartoons.
