Following the BBW thread and some of the comments which I agree and don’t fully agree with on there... how about a dad-bod appreciation thread! I don’t have the time to look like I’ve been chiselled out of granite and a six pack of bodingtons is far more appealing...

Mine has just started to develop; love handles, a little belly and overhang, a larger waistline, 1 stone heavier. As much as I know that I should embrace it, I'm trying to banish it; irony is, I look and feel better than ever but I'm used to being slim and toned so this is a morphing too far for me.

I love a dad bod , i really don’t care about lumps bumps or other wise , funny really as I’m very self conscious of my own body but if I look at it in reverse then I’d think that the only thing that matters really is being comfortable! Confidence is a big plus x

It's interesting to me when people say "dad bod." What if your dad is the current or a previous Mr Olympia maybe even a professional athlete.

Not all dad's have the same commonly referred to "dad bod." I know for a long period of my life my dad didn't have a "dad bod."

From a ladies point of view (well, mine anyway) a dad bod is preferable...I’m a woman of a certain age, I’ve got tiger stripes and bits that wobble more than they should. I’m proud of my body, sure I could do with toning up and maybe dropping a stone. Those insecurities would be amplified massively if I had to get undressed in front of some Adonis with a single figure bmi...just my thoughts ....
