so near and yet so far....

Looking for a house that seems to disappear when I get to 1500 yards... but I found it with NO help from the sat nav ..

Negotiating lanes and hills around Stroud fit for mountain goats, worse and this is my proud moment, I had to reverse up a hill for a white van man (2), who got out of their van and congratulated me for reversing....car was swearing at me I’m sure

I'm gonna jump on your coat tails here and say this is something I'm proud of myself for. I thought there was nothing left for me but a life of abuse and I was ready to leave this place we call earth.

One day something in me snapped and I didn't just have a spark in my belly I had a motherfucking inferno. I kicked him out, he was on police record.

May sound cheesy but I chose life.... and I'm so glad I did.

Surviving a mentally abusive marriage, finally finding the courage to ask him to leave. Supporting my kids through a very traumatic time and getting our lives back on track. Finding myself and not hiding in the corner through shame and lack of self esteem x

I'm buying my first house this month. I spent the last 15 years saving and living in house shares or cheap flats so that I could afford to buy witn the lowest possible mortgage. My aims is to pay it off in 4 Years. If feel quite proud I've managed to do it all by myself.

Picking myself up 10ish years ago after losing my marriage (not my fault), losing my job and my house (in the credit crunch) and ending up 34k in debt after going on a two year bender (totally my fault).

I had to completely rebuild my life from scratch, although I couldn't have done it without my amazing partner. I couldn't have imagined back then just how great my life is now.
