Pretty much my thinking! My manager is so lovely bless her, I don’t officially hand my notice in until Friday but I had a meeting with her today so I could prepare her and tell her I’m going to. She’s away on Thursday for two weeks, so she’d come back and only have two weeks to sort me out, and she’s absolutely terrific so I let her know beforehand

I’ve known for about three weeks now I was quitting this week, she text me yesterday saying she has my shifts covered for the next three weeks as she’s away on holiday, (I’m on sick leave and it just meant they were prepared in case I wasn’t ready to go back yet, which I’m not) so I thought shit, I better have a wee meeting with her and warn her she’s gonna come back to me leaving
