an evening class what would it be in?

i quite fancy either cake decorating or photography

i did BSL a couple of years ago to level 1 but after that it got to exphensive to do anymore

its a shame these courses cost so much would be great if they could be more accessable to everyone

i'm going to start looking for one to do this year i think its fun to learn new things

so go on what would you like to learn?

.

ALways amamzed me, years ago I was made redundant and went to college to do a course, that I was intending to do and had the money to pay for it.

Because I was unemployed it was free. When a couple of weeks later I was employed I went to try and pay, but no, because I was not working at the time it was free.

Why not charge a nominal fee for the unemployed or say when you are working you pay.

That may help bring the costs down

My mom was great at cake decorating even made her own flowers. She taught me to make single stem rose, was told it looked real, made myself sound all girly now must go for pint l

"Ive done quite alot of classes, silk painting, water colours, flower arranging, pottery"

i quite fancy some sort of painting one too but i'm not particularly good at it but then maybe that would be the reason for the course to get better

I'm going to do a course in the summer.... It's a profesional development thing, but I have to save up for it. It will be worth it though......

I took one 2 years ago in basic joinery which I really enjoyed. I would if had the time do another practical one some time as you can never have too many skills.

But expensive though

A great aunt of mine did one in painting and decorating ostrich eggs they where gorgeous the ones she did, she still does them now at nearly 90. Dont think my hand would be steady enough to do something as delicate as that though

I am learning ballroom and latin dances, as well as tap, once a week for the former, and twice a week for the latter.

I'd like to learn another language.

Half of Kate's family are Polish and I've tried to pick bits of that up, but it's quite difficult.

a language course or two would be useful

can find spanish courses easy enough, but portuguese classes are harder to find
