Naughty B&B

Just thought we would gauge opinions and some research. Having lived in a largish former b&b in quite a lovely setting on the mid Wales border with lovely views and large parking we have being toying with the idea of opening a naughty b&b? We would have at least three bedrooms where we were thinking a small group of couples could visit together for a few nights away or even just a night in the knowledge they could dress up, relax and play in each other’s rooms. We would be as good hosts as possible to cater for the needs of swingers and there would be an in house bar but we are still unsure if it would be a worthwhile venture? Ideas? Viewpoints? Any help or opinions would be welcome? Thanks all. xxx

Sounds like a great idea but maybe only viable to swingers at weekends so open as a "normal" b and b during the week ?

This could be a very good idea and we would be very interested should you decide to do it.

We are always looking for fun nights away with friends xxxx

Thanks for the encouraging feedback so far. Wasn’t sure how popular it would be compared to the budget chain hotels? Would try to make it a little quirky and only have swingers staying in small groups?

Sorry distracted with the house work and accidently pressed delete. As what was above:

When it comes to a group of couples coming who already know each other what would be the main advantage of booking your place out over say a holiday cottage or airbnb?

I like the idea of staying with my partner in a place where we can relax, wear (or not wear) what we want and just be able to be our selves with likeminded people without judgement. We would feel at home there as we do in a club.

As to actual swinging there I wouldn't expect to much (unless going with people we know). Basicly due to the size of the place. If you say only have two other couples staying the chances of mutrual 4 way or 6 way attraction is slim, it's hard enough to find in a big club. However I can imagine if by chance this does happen that would be awesome.

I think if you have a hot tub just big enough for the amount of guests this would be a great place for strangers to lose their inhibitions, get to know each other and get close and cosy to each other. Maybe you could offer an at hot tub drink service so people could stay in and really get to know each other. Also if you could combine the hot tub with the great views that would be a winner to.

I stopped in a place in the Peak District once where the guest book was littered with comments by swingers, so there's definitely a market for it.

Big room, 4 poster bed, jacuzzi and a few other touches may be required.

Thanks again for all the replies and thanks psychiatrist for the very long in depth reply which we appreciate. We wouldn’t be offering a club night or something similar and in reality it is probably aimed at 3 or 4 couples who know each other coming to stay. We haven’t got a hot tub yet but it’s something we are looking at. We are all ears and willing to take advice and constructive criticism at this stage as we’re just toying with the idea but intend a couple of test runs with guinea pigs so to speak. Thanks again everyone. Xxx

If non swingers are alerted to what goes on at weekend, you may get unwelcome attention.

We would be right up for it. We have actually talked about finding such a place.

I would recommend the couples don't have to know each other first because that would limit your customer base. I think it just has to be swinger-friendly. You could make it clothing-optional for example.

If you had a room where threesome can stay or even two couples, that would be a rare offering.

This is a very exciting idea and we would hope to visit if you got it off the ground. Feel free to pm us if you want to throw ideas around.

People will find out eventually, not all swingers are discreet. When someone is turned down, their revenge could be to 'out you' etc. I think it is a great idea, but I was just adding my opinion. No offence intended

Sorry the person above deleted his comments,

He said if it’s only small number of rooms what are the odds on the couples having an attraction to each other and wanting to play.

It is more likely to end up as a sort of small club or venue for people to book with their swinging friends to stay over.

Here ...

You should check the local planning laws in case you need a licence ... which unfortunately may also mean you need to inform your neighbours. Also, how would you stop non swingers and swingers booking at the same time? Not sure a small business can survive on just swingers but good luck!
