right then fellow book clubbers the vote has closed and the clear winner was

'The Man Who Broke into Auschwitz'

by Denis Avey

now all we need to do is decide on a fair time scale for us to read it

how does 2 weeks sound?

i think we may have to change the time scale with each book we choose as some are much bigger than others, this book isn't a huge one and i could quite possibly do it in a week if it grabs me and i'm not a fast reader so i think 2 might work for those with busier lives than me

so what do we think 2 weeks good or should we do 3?

little house on the praire

Maybe three weeks as im quite a slow reader. Also some might be limited to how much time they can find to read each day.

and i just thought it better we have longer than shorter time scale anyhoo as it may spoil others enjoyment of the book if they feel rushed

I'm good with 2 weeks but if people want to make it longer I'm good with that too!

Looking forward to starting it.

Will download it if it is on kindle or ibooks. I'm a fast reader but will take it slow so I take more in.

What do we do when we've finished, do we have a forum post to discuss it? xx

only rule is no spoilers can discuss but don't give endings away for those that haven't finished it

3 weeks is good for me .... going to buy my copy later today

can I suggest that no discussions are made until the 3 weeks are over? I for one will be reading the discussion rather than the book!! hehe

Can I join in Bouncey. Will buy this book and I'm a fast reader so 2 weeks would be fine for me but giving 3 is a good idea.

I buy my books secondhand from Amazon too. They are a lot cheaper than the supermarket. Most of the ones I've bought are 1p and then 2.50 p&p so that's a good price and they arrive within a few days too. Will order tonight
