couple, us we him her.

So Mrs is going away with work friends ,so I thought I'd book some time away.

As I am billy no mate's it will be a solo affair.

I'd like some recommendations please.

But

Warm but not hot.

Most definitely NOT anywhere with British bar's or place's serving full English breakfast, lads on tour, gobby British families.

Beautiful scenery, nice clear sky, friendly bar's you can sit down and enjoy your own or others company.

Being able to go to sleep with windows open without being kept awake by chant's of "OI OI"

Good food and drink.

And some wild swimming locations.

Many thanks

East Yorkshire

This may sound weird but hear me out.

Ibiza!

Not the bit everyone goes to, but the north side of the island is quiet and friendly, beautiful and charming. Don't know about the swimming.

Or Sicily, though can be busy (and expensive) doesn't have the brits abroad feel.

Leicestershire

Greek islands check out the less touristy areas to avoid the masses. Corfu is lovely.

West of Ireland - although a wetsuit is advised for swimming in the Atlantic!

If I had the money I would love to visit Canada.

But Croatia sounds interesting.

Have been to Austria before the alpine lakes there are breathtaking.

Was also thinking the Annecy area of France.

"Iceland - it might not be warm but it has the swimming and scenery "

I can both voice for Iceland and be a virtual tour guide... Don't ever ask me about Iceland unless you want to die a slow death about me going on and on and on and on and .....................
