I was chatting to a friend of FB earlier about my impending house move and what I'll with all the extra space

He suggested that I Air bnb'd one of the spare bedrooms

It sent a shiver down my spine

But then I did give it a thought

I'm still far from convinced

So, does anyone here do it?

How do you get your head round having a series of strangers in your space and what security measures do you put in place

B38

I have friends who work away often and rent out their place. It works for them, brings in some extra cash and I'm not aware of any issues so far. I think it's a good idea.

I’ve lived in a few houses as a lodger, all three houses were lovely.

Well apart from one of the ladies who was a bit of a cow once I signed all the paperwork and changed her mind on a lot of things but I did as she asked and got out as soon as I could.

Just make sure you outline rules from the start and don’t change them once they move in unless a very good reason!

You could offer it as a shag pad. There's always people on here looking for a room.
