"Yes but I believe sugar substitutes are worse. I’ve looked into this an awful lot as I have a child with ADHD and I wouldn’t touch diet/reduced sugar anything ever! No diet drinks in this house " It's a well known fact that aspartame is actually worse than sugar with greater potential side effects. Why its commercialisation is still permitted boggles the mind

"Generally, the amount of sugars one consumes in their hot drink can act as a barometer of their intelligence / social standing / demographic. It may explain why so many Jeremy Kyle Show guests had very little teeth..." . I have 3 sugars in coffee and I’ve never even watched Jeremy Kyle . And I have teeth.

"Well suger is sucrose (disaccharide) which is easier to digest and burn by human body, compare that with wheat or rice containing starch (polimeric carbohydrate) It would suggest its better to eat suger instead of bread. " Oh, here we go again... Next it'll be the obligatory 'alcohol is the most dangerous form of drug' argument - yawn!

"I would say it is, especially now in modern times where sugar can be found in most of the foods, whats your view?" To a degree, yes. But e numbers are probably worse, and e numbers are probably found in sweets and sugary drinks more than any other type of food. I know someone who used to eat a lot of sweet stuff, but it was only red sweets that set her off, and she would be bouncing off the walls after eating something containing this red e-colouring. It was a lot to deal with
