I've never been on a cruise. I bumped into a couple ladies whilst in Barbados who had stopped off on their cruise and they loved it.

Celebrity are amazing - not the cheapest but great

Just booked 14 days from Southampton to for Lauderdale in October including drinks and tips with a balcony for £2800 for two of us - that’s two weeks and all drinks ??

I've never looked into prices but probably out of my budget.

Southampton. Travelling on the 'Independence of the Seas' to the Med. That ship is the main attraction, not the ports.

I just came back on the ferry from Ireland this morning lol that is the closest I have come to a cruise.

I would like to go on a cruise though.. Just a mini cruise and not too long for the first time otherwise I think I would get bored and wanna jump off.

I was on princess cruisea last year for a month doing the asia adventure package.

Best holiday ive ever had.

Would recommend cruises to anyone.

So much to do on the ship on sea days (or just chill and sit by pool).

And port days get to see amazing places in the world.

I went solo so was expensive as i had to pay for 2.

Would love a cruising buddy ha

But yeah cruises are fantastic

Did the Norwegian Ffjords a good few years ago with Fred Olsen as family holiday for my grampy’s. He’d been to Norway in the war and wanted to go back. The ship (Balmoral) was lovely. Big but not super massive which suited me.

I personally didn’t enjoy dressing up for dinner every night but otherwise i’d recommend a cruise.

She is indeed. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed that cruise I was on. Not my idea to go on it, but given the choice now, not to mention the means, I'd go on it every year.

If any one wants to go on a cruise (but can't afford to spare the huge prices the most exotic ones demand), then I'd recommend the two day mini cruise. They consist of Southampton or Portsmouth to either Santander, Spain or Bilbao, Spain.

Costs from £170. Great ship. Has a swimming pool, cinema, gym, restaurants, mini supermarket, kids play areas, bars, nightclub, beauty parlour and all sorts of other things.

I went during Easter time of year. Sea was a bit rough round the Bay of Biscay. However, that area is always rough sea due to the huge underwater cliff off the Bay.

You get to see Whales and dolphins too. Definitely recommend.

Me and my family (mum, dad and brother) went on the Island Cruises round the Med on a couple of holidays which was great. Sadly the Island Cruises were decommissioned years ago.

In September, we're off to the Norwegian Fjords on the Marella Explorer which should be fun

Shangri-La

Used to work at the cruise terminal..ncl does by far the best cookies ..fred Olsen ship was dubbed " the black death " as there was at least one person die on it each trip. Disney was awesome but the " when u wish upon a star" ship horn would drive me mad...

Wouldn't mind carnival cruise round the Bahamas..

We’re doing the Norwegian Fjords on the Marella Explorer out of Newcastle, unfortunately not in September but the 7th July, seven days and counting

I'd like to do an Iceland cruise and see the Aurora Borealis. It dosent cost that much really. I think it should be done at least once in a life time.

We have been on Msc p&0 and princess

Our favourite is definitely princess as they have a much better loyalty scheme

We are now at the top level and you get priority embarkation and tender

Also you get free laundry free internet and free mini bar

Another bonus is they show a lot of live English football
