That "hope" trick worked no matter which word you stared on. The clever bit was making sure the word was picked from the jar.

I have the upmost respect and love for anyone who has served the country past and present... as my great grandfather fought in world war 2 but your story should not win you a talent show specially one that can change your life for ever if you truly are talented and this is the only real opportunity they will get so a story should have no influence... the winner should win based on their talent and act.

The best act wins... not the one with the most touching story.

Anyway it’s done now lol

I kmow several people who have been on BGT and it's not the show you think it is. For example, did you know some acts are gauranteed a place in the semi-final just for agreeing to take part? Or that some acts are only there to be cannon fodder for Simon Cowell? Some entrants have had their chances ruined because the production company insist they change their act at the last minute.

As for X, Simon Cowell would have known it was Spelmann as he's provided with all the contestants full details prior to the show.
