Blood on the tracks - Bob Dylan

Due to childhood memories of waking up on a weekend hearing my father sing Shelter from the Storm downstairs in accompaniment and, similar beautiful memories of travelling near the Burmese border with the man I was in love with and the little food place we went daily only played one album on their tape recorder.

(Honourable mentions to The Stone Roses debut album, Paul Simon’s Graceland and Miles Davis’ Ascenseur pour l'échafaud)

Love different albums for multiple reasons

Adventures: Sea of Love, reminds me of a happy time in my life.

Thin Lizzy: Chinatown, first that I owned

Best of Burt Bacharach: the start of an eclectic music taste.

Nick Cave:Dig Lazarus Dig, being totally blown away by lyrics

Pearl Jam: 10, every track brilliant.

War of the Worlds: music and storytelling

Pink Floyd: The Wall as above

I really could go on ...so I’ll stop but if I could only have one album

Propaganda: A Secret Wish

There and to the left a bit

Couldn't pick just one so here's a top 5 in no particular order:

The Liberty Of Norton Folgate (Deluxe Edition) - Madness

All Mod Cons - The Jam

Searching For The Young Soul Rebels - Dexys Midnight Runners

The Specials - The Specials

Steve McQueen - Prefab Sprout

Honourable mentions for I Just Can't Stop It - The Beat, American Idiot - Green Day, Lexicon Of Love - ABC, Glory Boys - Secret Affair
