I would really like to meet just for a coffee. Some times a coffee is just a coffee. Am I on a different planet?

Ok so some times coffee/tea/your favourite beverage (plus or minus cake) is sometimes just coffee/tea/your favourite beverage (plus or minus cake).

We happily meet just for coffee but sadly every time we have attempted this it turns out that actually it's in the hope that they can persuade us to take things further. It rarely gets as far as the coffee.

Sometimes it's just nice to meet up both knowing there is no expectations either way. Chill chat and grab a cuppa or bite to eat. Put the world and fabs to rights with a like minded person. Not everything has to be about sex for two people to enjoy each others company. I've got more swinging friends than I'll ever have had play partners.

So I definitely would enjoy just a coffee and a chat

When we were younger, "like to come back to my place for a coffee?" meant "like to fuck?"

Both of us 'went back for coffee' many times and didn't have any coffee!

I think it's 'Brassed Off' that has the lines;

"Would you like to come up for a coffee?"

"I don't like coffee."

"I don't have any!"

A few years ago, if I travelled anywhere, I'd always offer to meet folks for just a coffee, especially folks looking for their first verification. I never got taken up on it, so I do think that a fair amount of the 'just a nice chat' talk, is somewhat misleading, as many want it to go somewhere.

Often met for just a drink or two, whether that be Tea & cake or G&T.

Isn’t this called a social?

Then you can gauge if it’s likely to go anywhere if there is any chemistry etc.

But it’s also nice to meet likeminded folks and have a chat with no agenda

Plus it's great for when you've met someone prior but neither have the time for anything more on that particular day. Get together, have a coffee and a chin wag, lovely

Exactly. This is just it!!

So hard as a guy as so many don't think I'm genuine when I say just a coffee (or G&T!)
