The Town by The Cross

Today a man was walking his dog. I was walking toward them and them toward me.

His dog stopped n stared at me and then jumped high and all over me.

I stood still.

He said. 'It's okay. He's okay.'

I said nothing and carried on walking.

BUT .........

It's NOT fucking okay.

I've always had dogs. I wasn't scared but it's the sheer fooking cheek.....

It's okay.... as if me n the dog were going to play or sommat.

No attempt to make sure his dog respected my space.

I certainly would of said something. I love dogs but i do not want a random dog sniffing or jumping me. It happened on my first trip out after an operation we went for a quiet walk down the park and some fucking dog jumped up and broke my stitches

I tend to run at the owner and jump up at them, all T-Rex flappy little arms to their chest, whispering with intent “it’s okay, it’s okay...or *is* it?” and then walk on.

I warn people about ours, if given the chance he will jump up people, I don't give him the chance.

People are scared of our dog, the perception of a German Shepherd is they are 'nasty' dogs ours is a big soft lump who just wants to be fussed.

Iv been attacked in the street many times,one used to see me coming and run like fuck to its front door waiting for me growling like fuck, but it OK it comes with the job, doesn't it?

No it’s not Granny.

Some tit did this to my eldest son when younger and he became scared of dogs! Although he’s ok now we have our own.

I have one arm more muscular than the other from reigning my dog in from doing this! Stronger than he looks.

One of the things that annoys me most! No it’s not ok. Dogs should be on leads end of.
