Google Redsn0w and all will be revealed. Depending on what type of phone you have i.e. 3g, 3gs or 4 etc c and what version of the ios depends on what software you use and the way you do it.

usually see how to do it on you tube. I know when I jail broke my ipad all the 'how to' was on there.

If you are the type of person that would like to play around with the iphone, then yes. You can change the springboard, get different themes, 3rd party apps that are not in the applestore.

Also installoius is one of the must have cydia apps as it gives you assess to a free AppStore

if you've had your phone unlocked jail breaking it will set it back to the original provider, i learnt this the hard way lol
