never had a perm, but my hair did go curly when i was in my teens

mum still has the school pics to prove it

thankfully it wasn't long before it straightened

but then it all dropped out never to return - well not on me bonce anyway

No I have never had a curly perm.

For ages I had short punky hair which I had to straighten. But a few years ago I grew it and learnt to love my natural curls.

With many women having long, layered poker straight hair, I'm glad I'm different with my 80s glam rocker poodle type hair and I won't change it or use the straighteners again, curls rock

I can honestly say as a child of the 70's and a Liverpool supporter, I always thought Kevin Keegan looked like an absolute cock.

My brother came in one day with a head like a dandelion, I laughed so much I nearly shite.

Anybody who born with hair like that get down the hairdresser quick, or shave it off, anybody who pays to look like that, see a trick cyclist quick.

I must say my mum hated it when I had a skinhead cut, I didn't like it much myself, everytime I shaved I thought I was going to mug myself.

Had one in 1988/9 Madchester etc rather than a Keegan-esque 70's number.

Best "style" I had was a huge quiff, bleached Billy Idol white on top and burgundy down the sides. In my defence, the quiff was cool but the g/f of the time was at college learning hair-dressing so often got experimented on.

I just wish I had those options now; alas unless I undergo some Rooney style miraculous transformation then it is what it is.
