Before I buy anything, I think do I really need this thing or am I just sad and is this just to temporarily fill the void, until the rush of purchasing something new wears off.

What do you do, to stop yourself from purchasing willy nilly, or do you just buy willy nilly in the hope that your latest product will give you the happiness you’re searching for ?

Buying doesn’t make me happy because I don’t like shopping.

Buying coffee and cake makes me happy though

I hate shopping Tame, so that doesn’t happen with me. I’ll go out for coffee instead

I rarely buy things for the sake of it. In fact I try to make myself do it by the whole "I deserve a treat" thing but I just end up talking myself out of it.

Get a minimum wage job and run your own house alone. There's no spare cash for purchases, problem solved.

I get purchasing guilt so have the opposite problem. Instead I fill my emotional void with cock.

I can't afford to shop willy nilly so I buy what I need and occasionally treat myself.

I never buy anything If I have to borrow, I just go without, I don’t get the mentality of buy now pay later. I’ve been waiting to buy some Bose speakers for months, every time I get the money together something more important comes up.

I'm not really a big shopper. Not unless it's for food. I sometimes go for days without buying anything because I hate stuff for the sake of stuff. I don't like clutter and get antsy at the thought of more. Sex is a far better way to spend my time.

I always buy things then get annoyed for spending the money. I mainly buy trainers/shoes some may call it an addiction

Treating yourself once in a while does you a world of good. As long as it’s once in a while and not compulsive purchasing then I see no harm in it.

I’m a shopaholic so do buy randomly, many times when not needed. I’m starting to buy things I need more often now but I’m still spending more than I should.

We all self-soothe in different ways. Some people like to buy stuff, some people comfort eat, some people spend excessive amounts of time on the Internet or escape into novels or TV. Everyone has their own particular emotional crutch.

The right place

I definitely used to buy things to make me feel better but as I’ve got older I realise that virtually all possessions fail to deliver on their expectations.

I would rather spend time and money on experiences and time with friends.

I'd rather put the money away and save it for family treats

Yes we're consumers, we exist to work, to spend, to die, so that others can choose not work, to enjoy the fruits of our labours, then leave it all to their kids so they can continue the status quo.

On a mooch

I hate shopping. I trained d to buy things that I actually need for the lad or the house

Occasionally I’ll treat myself with a new something, which is usually for playtime

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I don't get enough sex so I buy to fill the void. It's getting full in there.
