This is very much the opposite of a 'why wont anyone respond to my messages' thread, oh no my dear fabbers! More of a what works for you, and what doesn't, were all individuals so require different combination of buttons to be pushed, and obviously the 'will u meet now' 'let's fuq' 'u free now bby' clearly dont work. I love a film quite that I know, something to make me smile, or a slightly cheesy song quote, anything fun I guess

If I send an opening mail, to someone. It's to comment on something I've read or seen, in their profile or on the forum. So I'd open with that.

I try to do what I hope for in others: I refer to their profile (or forum conversation) and am polite, friendly, and where applicable express an interest in meeting (hinting on sexual interest or compatibility but not going into too much detail).

Most of my conversations are off the back of forum threads so tend to flow (or not) from there - I'll occasionally get "cold" messages from outside of the forums, unfortunately these tend to be from guys and of the "fancy a BJ now?" variety and do nothing for me so get binned
