Misinterpreting rudeness

Some bloke messaged us asking to meet him and another couple. Our profile clearly states we are not interested in meeting couples.

I asked him if he'd read our profile properly and got a full on rant about how rude I'm being (Mrs). Literally blew up on me, never thought I'd be on the receiving end of someone not getting what they want, I've heard plenty of stories about it on here lol. Made me chuckle, in block capitals signed off the message with BLOCK LIST MADE

Soz hun

P.s I know sometimes it's hard to tell if someone's deliberately being rude or just being blunt and straight up when sending messages online (which i was in this case) didn't fancy a load of back and forth, for the record

You're not the only one. Tend to find they are the same guys that have a one or two word profile!

Yeh I'm not hurt or anything, just wanted to share and see if anyone agrees that it was a bit childish of him to have a tantrum over something to trivial. Do you know what's really funny, he said he did read my profile so I don't know wtf was going on there hahahaha. Moron

Text is a very blunt mode of communication..it's really easy to get the wrong interpretation

I had the same. Some guy kept messaging constantly. Here and kik. Wouldn't stop.

In the end I got fed up and worried. I cancelled meeting him. Blocked him on here and kik. He only made another kik account and fab profile just to send me abuse.

Made me laugh. OP just remember it says more about them. They're pathetic and immature. Shows their true colours of which I'm glad.

Yes we've been blocked when we've asked people to read our profile. Obviously not something they were prepared to do so decided to have a hissy fit instead.

I don't bother replying to people like that, saves the hassle of the huffy retort.

I'm used to the abuse. I often politely refer them to my profile text and I get abuse back saying I shouldn't be here and I'm a time waster . I just delete now but then I get called a stuck up bitch so can't win

sadly many find rejection to hard to take no matter mow nicely you put it, bo wonder many just delete and block rather than try to be nice and polite

I would guess he needs a female to meet another couple with him can't find one so is asking a couple instead and had thrown his toys out of the pram at being foiled.

It's a good idea to provoke the reaction, just see how mature the potential friend is, or if they are one of the cupid stunts.
