You look good op, I fabbed a couple of your pics

Getting meets is only about having good looks - and beauty is always in the eyes of the beholder - it's about personality and matched preferences. Plus, as you state, the competition is high for you single guys, so someone else may just have a better match of something else that's important, such as availability or they manage to communicate their essence in a way that captivates someone at the right point in time.

There's loads of advice in the forum on how to make the best of fab, covering how you promote yourself, meeting at socials etc. A key thing can often be to ensure that expectations are realistic. Good luck!

I don't think you're bad looking at all but you ask not to be judged on your looks then you say you don't want skinny women or women with loads of verifications. We all have a type granted on the first bit, but the second part definitely has a judgment there. I'd probably aim to take some of that out of your profile and focus on being more positive about yourself.

I get about a message week on here, the odd one on Fet and the same with other sites. My gf gets about 70 a day (we have separate accounts). The vast majority of messages she receives are completely cringeworthy and barely readable - not at all surprised that men get such a bad name on dating/swinging sites in general, we’re an embarrassment and incredibly fragile little things!

I agree with this comment. I've had many female friends on here and I've seen the messages which they get. For the most part, they're disgusting. Most of the messages show lack of respect, sexual desperation and major insecurities.

However, and this is a big deal... These guys do not spoil it for the rest of us - quite the opposite! Given the ratios on here, how on earth would I stand a chance if my competition were respectful, non-desperate, thinking men without insecurities? I wouldn't! Women are easily able to identify who is a freak and who isn't - so idiots actually increase my chances by making me look special (when I'm not particularly special at all!).

Regarding the actual numbers though, men are just generally more sexual. Men seem to instinctively look to sow their seed whereas women generally don't. It's a trend which goes through the animal kingdom. That's why the ratios on here are massively different, in my opinion anyway.

The vast majority of messages she receives are completely cringeworthy and barely readable - not at all surprised that men get such a bad name on dating/swinging sites in general, we’re an embarrassment and incredibly fragile little things!

Why do you think that message imbalance is? Because we are fragile? Because we're more prone to thinking about sex? Objectify more? There's more men on these sites? Genuinely curious!

Because for the most part, men are discourteous, think with their dicks, hound women with messages and have a severe lack of self-awareness. Yes, not ALL men, but the majority of men ruin it for other men. Of course, I’m generalising, but that’s my view on it.

I agree with this comment. I've had many female friends on here and I've seen the messages which they get. For the most part, they're disgusting. Most of the messages show lack of respect, sexual desperation and major insecurities.

However, and this is a big deal... These guys do not spoil it for the rest of us - quite the opposite! Given the ratios on here, how on earth would I stand a chance if my competition were respectful, non-desperate, thinking men without insecurities? I wouldn't! Women are easily able to identify who is a freak and who isn't - so idiots actually increase my chances by making me look special (when I'm not particularly special at all!).

Regarding the actual numbers though, men are just generally more sexual. Men seem to instinctively look to sow their seed whereas women generally don't. It's a trend which goes through the animal kingdom. That's why the ratios on here are massively different, in my opinion anyway."
