I think even without sharing a language animals can be pretty intuitive and expressive.

Definitely fly.... avoiding the tube in rush hour would be pure bliss

Plus getting somewhere a piece of cake, as the crow flies it’s 10 miles, public transport 20 miles and two hours later haha

You make a good point and I will have to change to talk to the animals as a result!!

I could make enough money with this skill to fund trips up the 14 8000m summits and hopefully have a crack at the Ogre as well

Get into the water, call the dolphins and go on an adventure with them to some random island. Surf on the back of a whale.

ride the tapir to work befoe telling him where to meet me for lunch.

Talk to animals.

Technically (at some point in the future) self solo flight will be possible through some sort of technology.

The ability for none humans (especially none primates) to be able to fully communicate vocally will very likely be impossible and never happen.

So I'd take the impossible over the eventual probable (even if I never lived to see it)
