Night time routine

Having just started mine, I got to wondering, does everyone have one?

Do you?

What is it?

Or do you just flop into bed whenever you're ready?

Mine goes like this...

Pee, wash hands, remove make up, cleanse face, brush teeth, moisturise face, get changed for bed, apply hand cream, spray face and neck with rose water, apply collegen eye mask once a week, get into bed, watch an hour of something in bed and finally, hopefully sleep!

Gosh, that's quite a lot now I've written it down!

Hefty Hideaway

Dogs out. Make up off. Hair brushed. Pee. Teeth brushed. Dogs in. Alarm set. Phone on charge. Straight to bed and generally asleep when my head hits the pillow.

Sounds a great idea actually. Na night.

Pee, wash hands, remove make up, get undressed, put moisturizer on face, have cigarette in bed, maybe listen to music or have a tommy tank depending on mood and how tired i am, another cigarette, if had Tommy tank clean self up, and sleep

I put a boiled egg under my bed in order to avoid dreaming about women with no teeth.

My routine at home is take puppy in garden. Pop him in his pen. Tidy all the puppy toys up. Put all cups and whatever else the family have abandoned in the dishwasher, Wipe down the kitchen sides.

Remove makeup. Apply eye cream and night cream. Wee. Brush teeth. Attempt to sleep.

When I'm with the fwb it's usually awe do we have to sleep now? Then off to bathroom for quick makeup removal. Wee and bits wash. Then brush teeth. Then return to room to find him snoring. Prod him a few times hoping to coax him awake. Give up and fall asleep with my hands on or near his willy.

Quick shower, brush teeth, bed...

Then get up to pee, back to bed...

Can’t sleep so browse fab, xhamster...

Try to sleep, pee again...

Etc, etc

Ask the dogs if they need out

Lift the dogs into the bedroom windowsill. They’ll climb down the ramp and do their business.

I’ll go and pee, wash my hands, do my teeth etc.

Dogs will come back in, I’ll put them in the kitchen to bed and get my bottle of water from the fridge.

Turn off the lights.

Contemplate peeing again.

Get naked and climb into bed.

C asks what I want on. Decide.

Sit and talk to the bump. He wakes up when I’m in bed so we feel him kicking and wriggling about.

Talk about babies.

I’ll get up and pee again.

Remember I haven’t taken my 3rd iron tablet so take it with some water - then pee again.

Put my eye mask on and sleep.

Wake up a couple of hours later to pee again.

The dogs usually follow me to the bathroom during the day, the few pees I have a night while their in bed is the only peace I get!

My night time routine is the reverse of those so far.

Wake up around 8pm, pee, then shower, then eat Breakfast. Check I have freshly ironed clothes, then get ready and start work at 10pm (10.30pm on Saturdays).

Morning routine depends on how busy or quiet my shift was but generally, I sleep from Midday to 8pm, except on days off.

I put on my smoking jacket, pour myself a snifter of brandy from the crystal decanter in my globe drinks cabinet and enjoy a Havana Monte Cristo whilst chastising the servants for their pecadillos of the day. I then call on the ministrations of the prettiest but most common of the scullery maids, and finally slump cheerily into my four-poster bed before nodding off to dream of earthly pleasures...

Actually no, I just stay up way later than I should, then autopilot into bed and fast asleep.
