"Cheeky little bird of paradise " They're not that little - mine are 3' tall My current favourite in my garden are Californian poppies - massive splashes of intensely bright colours, for no effort or cost as they self-seed into my tarmac drive. Tree peonies have been great this year too. | |||

"I have the most fabulous vine in my garden https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Actinidia_kolomikta Actinidia Kolomicta - it’s a New Zealand kiwi fruit non fruit bearing. In late April the lime green leaves appear. By mid May the leaf tips turn white and slowly over a few weeks turn the most beautiful bright pink.
