It's summer, it's the flower show at Chelsea, let's appreciate a few blooms.

I love a nice fuschia.

"Cheeky little bird of paradise "

They're not that little - mine are 3' tall

My current favourite in my garden are Californian poppies - massive splashes of intensely bright colours, for no effort or cost as they self-seed into my tarmac drive.

Tree peonies have been great this year too.

I love many of the beauties already mentioned but for the sake of choosing one, right this minute, I’m going to say Hellebores.

I have the most fabulous vine in my garden

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Actinidia_kolomikta

Actinidia Kolomicta - it’s a New Zealand kiwi fruit non fruit bearing. In late April the lime green leaves appear. By mid May the leaf tips turn white and slowly over a few weeks turn the most beautiful bright pink. Looks absolutely stunning at present

I've got a lovely pink bush rose that smells wonderful. It's probably been in my garden for 30 years

I (mail) adore Dahlias perhaps my favourites are Bishop of Llandaff and Daily Mail.

We actually encourage local people to plant for wildlife by selling plants we've grown at less than cost price
