Why is it people automatically jump, often to the wrong conclusion?

Just pulling out of my road and a guy roars up and parks right on the end. Ok. So I think idiot, raise my eyes but that's all.

He gets out of his car, drops his phone. Doesn't notice so I give a little beep, not a 'you are a wanker beep because you have parked in my way and I can't see out of the junction beep' just a little one.

He turns round angry as f#@k and I politely smile and point to the floor.

Knew I should have run over it lol

Naaaa people are as impatient as fuck these days and up themselves.

Don't get me started on impatient aggressive drivers but I think most people only see 1ft in front of their car and fuck anything beyond that point.
