In 1999 I landed in New York 2 hours after he died. I could not get a taxi for love nor money as all taxi drivers had gone home to watch the news and the city was in virtual mourning. Amazing voice and one hell of a colourful character

What a voice!

My favourite is Witchcraft, closely followed by Come Fly With Me.

And his version of Fools Rush In can never be bettered IMHO.

my dad favourite was "summer wind" ...and im going to share another story here !!

my daughter married 8 years ago and I was about to do some last minute prep for the reception (making sure all the tables were sorted ) while the DJ was setting up all his kit ....

i was struck speechless when all of a sudden i heard Sinatra singing summer wind ... No one but me and Dad new that was his favourite song (everyone else thought it was My Way ) and i certainly hadnt told the DJ.. I know for sure my Dad was at his only Grand daughters Wedding ........pass the hankies !!

There are plenty of his music about, some can be picked up at hugely discounted prices, especially his earlier music.
