How many work from home on a day basis?

How do you find it in comparison to office work?

Lots of people I talk to, have jobs that give them time to log in at work.

Clacton on sea, Essex

I can sometimes spend up to 12 hours a day editing / uploading porn material I've shot, you could say a hard day at the orifice.

Home work is convenient in some ways and not so in others.

John

I’m working from home today!

Have sent one email

But have a sick child so more on call if I’m needed urgently rather than actually working

I'm exactly the same.

A very close friend of mine does and I don't know how she does it, I lack willpower evidently lol

Yes occasionally, means I can do some work in my girly clothes. These days with a VPN it’s more doable but the calls from work can be annoying, if someone approached you at work they can see if you’re intensely concentrating and give you a few minutes. But a call could be urgent or not, however I feel I have to take it, so losing my train of thought.

Male half of the couple here, I work from home2-3 days a week.

I find I’m mich more productive and manage to get jobs round the house done too.

I browse fab, but less than our female.

I’d get to distracted by all the fit people.

I work from home full time, with the occasional site trip every now and then.

I find that a lot of people comment on how great it must be to work from home when they find out I do...and whilst there's no denying there are some major upsides (zero commute, turn up for work wearing just pants, etc ), there are some downsides too.

It is definitely harder to get hold of info sometimes...have to rely on phone or email rather than just lean over and ask someone at next desk. Plus there's the whole social aspect...it's nice to have a chinwag sometimes.

So pros and cons...but I kinda like it. Plus it means I can have a wank whenever I want and it doesn't even have to be that crafty

Worked out great for us.

I often slip upstairs for 10 minutes around 3 before the kids come home from school.....its an afternoon tea break. OH likes me to tell him about it when he gets home and what I was thinking at the time .....

I've worked from home for more than a decade, but with travel once a month on average. I think I'd not cope with working in an office anymore (I'd have to talk to, like, real people and everything!?)- and certainly not the commuting!!!

Hmm x
