Ok so this may just be a reflection of my ‘new’ naivety but midweek sucks in terms of meets and just general fun!

Work, kids, careers, study, Eastenders all seem to take priority (and rightly so) but it doesn’t help my plight

Any words of advice?

Yes it most definitely is a thing. Was visiting friends in Australia who had 2 watermelons in the fridge with holes all over them. One was filled with gin, the other was solely for the use of the man of the house in his moment of need.
