I used to get them in the past... But realised that certain styles and quality of photo attracted those kinds of mails, as they were similar to those used by escorts on the site. Once I changed things around a bit they stopped.

or use your filters....just have site supporters, people verified, only certain age men or just no men or no men, women, tv couples etc. Then you will get no messages at all.

Ive heard this a lot and have also heard why and how some have changed it.

Increase your filters and go look yoursef for meets. It's easy just to sit back and winge about all the mail, but you can easily stop that.

Certain photos will also bring certain types, so think about' how your photos are viewed and received.

Your profile header has a bigger impact than you may realise so use it wisely.

Careful with your updates, and what you say on the forums.

All this was given to me from a few female friends when I asked how they managed their mail box. They went from maybe 80-150/ day to 5-10 max. They also have gained a better, more appropriate and compatable audience to select from.

A prominent mod corrected me once assured me it was only about 2% and not the optimistic 5-8 I'd mentioned in reply once.

Conclusion don't take what forumites say as fab opinions. So just ignore all that I've said.
