A bit peeved.....

A few of months ago I was messaging with someone on here from a fair distance away. We said we would like to meet up sometime but it was left at that. A while later they messaged again and it was thought that if we met halfway, that would be fair, but again, nothing was confirmed. Another while later they messaged me and implied that I was timewasting as I had aparently 'left them hanging' with no committment to meet. I did try to reply to their message only to find they had blocked me.

They then seemed to disappear from the site for a month or so, only to re-appear with a new user name, messaging me and again 'telling me off', not even giving me a chance to reply as they have again blocked me! Seems a bit like 'knock on the door and run away'.

Why do I feel upset by this and why is it even bothering me?

No answers required really, just wanted to get it off my chest.

I am quite surprised that people have been so quick to simply believe what they have been told when it is in fact only one inaccurate side to a very bitter post.

We are the people being discussed in this post in a derogatory manner twisting the facts, which are:

Some time ago as Sin4all there was contact between us, brief as it was which ended when we sent her/them our mobile number, as we make no plans with anybody until a fem2fem call has been made. We were assured that this call would be made that evening. We never heard from her/them again.

Sometime later through forum banter contact was again made, after several ping pong messages through the site we suggested that they call using the number that we had previously given. Once again this call never came. Confused we simply sent them a message stating “ As this is the second time that you have pretended to want to meet us , please do not contact us again”. Nothing nasty just a plain fact.

This problem has been raised ‘now’ expressing that our actions have caused distress about issues that occurred some time ago is in response to our PM sent today?

what ever happened to respect and understanding ???? i've had many e-mails on this site that were far from kind or respectful, but hey ho, its deletable, so i don't have a constant reminder, and those that can't be respectful just get blocked anyway,and as for the OP you had their number why didn't you take it up on the phone direct rather than drag it out into the forum ???????? come on play nicely now ffs

greatest respect to all but i think we should all refrain from bringing personal attacks into the forum, if a problem arise's that can't be resolved on a persoanl basis, then that should be where it ends, lifes far to short, the availablity to of good people is even shorter, so lets not spoil the whole site by this sort of thing becoming a regular feature ps if i'm not mistaken it states clearly that if you are blocked by someone you shouldn't use the forum to contact them or bad mouth them which is in fact what appears to have gone on here and i think admin should close this thread

Not a truer word spoken.

There has been a spate of these threads lately where people are coming onto the forums because they have a grievance with someone in mail.

They are personal so they will always get stopped ( eventually ) so please keep your squabbles out of the forums.
