It depends if it seems genuine and also what else is I the message.

An "oh my god you are the most stunning woman on the site" just seems insincere but an "I liked your photos" is nice if it's followed by a good message.

I reply to the ones who seem sincere. I get messages from people saying they know we're too far apart to meet, but they just want to pay a compliment. I like that.

Don't get that many unsolicited messages, polite or otherwise, so I always respond.

I always send polite messages, but if I see a pic I find gorgeous / beautiful I will say so.

No, normally all I get is wow, your pics are amazing and you look stunning, what on earth can you say that doesn't make you look like you have your head up your arse?

I just find it less cringe to ignore that reply with a 'thanks for the compliment, plus I know most are insincere

No I don’t, if you love the pics that’s what the fab button is for. If you’ve got something more to say then say it don’t be shy. But dull inane blether is just ignored. If I reply it means they’ve got free pass back into my box when my filters are up. I don’t want dullards blocking it up with drivel.

As a bloke I don’t get to many messages so it’s easy enough to reply to everyone!
