When you get a new boss to work for

Well he has been in the job about 6 weeks now, he is a bit full on compared to the old boss, one guy has already decided he is looking for a new job, said he wont be able to work for the new guy.

experiences with a new boss people, did you have one that seemed nice but turned out to be a real pain in the arse!

Or did you have one that you thought was going to be a pain the arse, who turned out to be great! ????

You tend to find new bosses try making an impact when they first start, usually they start to let you do what you want after a while

We are still finding our feet with our new boss. I like him, he's very approachable and nice, everything is 'fab'. The problem is he's not a hands on, get involved with everything like the old one, more a 'I'm a paperwork, based in the office' kind of manager which doesn't really work in our environment. Some people have given him 3 months which I think is a bit harsh, 6 months I'd say!

well I would say are boss is also a I am in the office kind of guy, problem is their are plenty of times in the year that he really needs to be a, I will muck in and help you get the job done type of boss, not sure that is going to happen.

I have been with the same company for 20 years, we have had numerous new site managers and CEO’s that want to be dynamic and make their mark, they all have new ideas and want to change the world, we try it their way then go back to working the way we always have

My current operations manager is a right spunk trumpet.

When he first joined the company he was ok but he's made so many bad and unprofessional decisions since it's unbelievable.

About a year ago we were having a difficult time covering nights shifts because he decided the women shouldn't be allowed to work nights based purley on what he thinks. After many meeting's he wouldn't back down, even after it was made clear he was discriminating half the staff and doing something that was illegal. I ended up getting in contact with ACAS to deal with it.

He had no choice but to relent, but for some bizzare reason he bought the women staff raype alarms for the night shifts because he didn't want them alone in the office with a male employees??

This week he binned some books in the kitchen because they were "cluttering the kitchen". Seeing as they were not his property it's a bit out of order. He may as well have just burned them.

started a new job boss was a bit of a snob was thinking of moving on . Then one weekend went to lachambre with now ex wife we went into a room where guys can join in if she like look of the I was busy with a woman. and her husband I looked over and my boss was going like a rabbit with my wife his wife was kissing her then locked eyes he grabbed his wife and ran on Monday yhe was nice as pie but I still left as couldn't it to myself what happened and told every one at work oops

I work on building sites, the bosses all love the office. they occasionally honour us lowlives with their presence, but only to tell us we're doing everything wrong.

I’ve had a mixture of great bosses who could inspire and lead by example, and some real a*** holes who destroyed morale.

I now work for myself and my boss is awesome
