Most mobiles have good cameras and you can buy a mobile phone tripod / stand in the poundshop these days. So with a bit of effort and thought it's surprising the results you can achieve.

Ultimately OP it's your call and how you want to be seen that matters - a pic like yours, where the cock is almost the second thing you notice isn't bad, and is definitely better than a close up over a toilet bowl.

Little things like being aware of the background count though, as you've found out.

Hi OP, when you have only a very little information to go on in a profile the little things have greater importance.

1) Cluttered messy background - is person just having a "messy" day or is their flat/house clarty, dusty and drinking of cat pee?

2) Cock pics - if it's all you see and pics are badly taken then you often assume the person is only thinking about "getting their hole" and will zip up and fuck off leaving you feeling unsatisfied and used

3) Bare Profile - they don't want to meet someone they like and share fun times they just want a fuck.

I've updated my profile.

I personally would rather send a normal photo or use a face photo as a profile pic, although I think that wouldn't be the greatest idea due to the nature of the site and wanting some veil of secrecy.

I think I'll stick to the new pics as its very middle of the road.

I agree that trust and conversation is key.
