Does the site have that option, where Admin can have it automatically substitude 'Censored' words with other words?

A friend of mine did this on his Website, but just for random words... every so often yer posts would come out really bizzare .. it was amusing.

agreed , but since the ban here was subjective anyway the verdict is an indication that there will be no comeback for the site if w/s and fisting pics are allowed. Many other free sites allow them...after peacock the decision that they do not break the obscene publications act means any chance of prosecution is very low. It is case law in relation to fisting and watersports, and therefore a relevant thing to consider.

I'm offended ...... it's as if we all are irresponsible enough to want to mention our d4ughters on this site forums as a bit of titivation.

We all banter back and forth about what our kids (many of whom are adults too) get up to and how they make us proud or dement us or make us laugh and we share these anecdotes, loads of forum stuff mentions our kids in our day to day lives, are we not to mention them at all now?

I know inc*st is a taboo subject and illegal, and mentioning non-consensual intercourse on the forums is also taboo. Most people here, especially parents will avoid the discussion of inc*st..... as for forced Non-consenting intercourse, that is an emotive topic of any conversation not just a forum one so I understand them being banned topics of conversation, but mentioning just the the word d4ughter?

We are pleased to see that the spirit of free speech is still alive and well and being defended on here

This was a change that we had to make for another of our sites (to comply with banking regulations as we apply to take cards as well as phone upgrades over there) and that got applied here by error as part of our regular updates.

The problem on our other site is that references are made to things like "wanking over my step-daughter's panties" and it's something that the main card issuers get upset by (we're not that pleased by it either and threads do get removed but mods can't be everywhere all the time). That along with any reference to forced sex acts and anything that may be references to incest (so stuff like choke, rape, strangle, incest is also not allowed on the other site).

The forums over here are different and we're not up against the same compliance checklist so we've fixed this so that the test is only checked on the right site.

TH it's understandable from their POV because they don't want stuff like paedophillia and extreme porn and they don't have time to look at thousands of pages so they run an automated tool that looks for keywords to help them control risk.

All sorts of topics of discussion are on these forums... it's not all sex, sex, sex, sex and more sex.

I don't understand why you think this site is 'sordid' yet, you chose to be part of it?

seems daft you cant put the word daughter on the open forum but you can send the word in a PM, surely if anything dodgys going off it will be done in private and not on the open forum?
