Favourite Intros To Childhood Programmes

What intros to your favourite childhood programmes do you remember fondly?

My favourite has always been the Intro to Tugs. It certainly has an upbeat sort of feel and that saxophone playing is beautiful.

They remade the series in 2012 not sure about intro, not as dramatic

I see what you mean. The 2012 intro is not as good as the original.

I understand how people are scared of the classic Doctor Who intro as the theme itself is pretty creepy and the intro itself looks like some kind of acid trip.

My nan’s spare room.

Intros or theme tunes.

If it’s intros, then joint first are the clangors and Ivor the engine.

I win

And I also couldn't stop singing Dogtanian and the Muskerhounds

Because that's not annoying

"Trumoton or was it Camblewick Green?

The Trumpton intro with the clock tower used to scare me a bit when the two figures came out of the clock to ring the bell. Brian Cants voice didn't help much.

"Who could forget Count Duckula?

Was that the one voiced by del boy? I used to love that. Was on sky one when I was a kid. Preferable to the Disney ducks.

I seem to remember enjoying the beginning of a show called trapdoor and funnybones.

But then favourite opening theme tune will always be...

Have you ever, ever felt like this...

Also. Are you afraid of the dark had a pretty creepy intro. Dodgy attic, dodgy looking clown toy, empty swings swinging away sounding like they need a touch of oil.
