"This is my 4th Mirena. The first 3 it took 6 months to settle down but then Had no Pain Or periods. This 1 has been the bane of my life. And I find if I have rough sex with this coil I bleed for a while Pop and get it checked just to make sure it hasn't moved " I'm lucky they said I dont have to have it refitted good job bloody after pain was a killer xx | |||

"I had one and was told to give it 6 months to settle down! Unfortunately mine perforated my uterus so had it removed!! " This is what worries me how do I know if it's doing damage... losing this amount of blood surely isn't normal? | |||

This is what worries me how do I know if it's doing damage... losing this amount of blood surely isn't normal? " Mine was so so painful, I had an internal scan as they kept saying it’d settle And give it time but I knew it wasn’t right and the scan revealed that it had moved and perforated my uterus so they got me straight in to have to removed! I wasn’t bleeding heavy though but the stomach pain low down was chronic! | |||
