Yes. I did 2 day venice, early train 3rd day & spent half a day in verona then trained to rome for 2 days. All honesty verona isnt all that, you can do anything of interest in a day. I did romeo & juliete house (wasnt worth it tbh) & roman amphitheatre (that was good for veiws). In all honesty theres much better places in europe to visit

I'll be mostly looking to hike in the Italian alps but I'm going to be flying to Verona and taking the bus/train from there. It looks pretty on google images so I was wondering if there are any interesting spots to check out, I know lake Garda is one thing to see. As for R&J and amphitheaters, I have no interest in it

Lake garda yes! Amazing. The alps will be incredible. I wouldnt go out my way to visit again but If its just a pass through just look up and walk, the architecture is incredible. The amphitheatre is worth visiting for the chill factor its strangely piece full.

Enjoy your visit

It will be just a pass through, I'll be going to a Dolomites (most likely) straight after.

Ok, I'll keep that in mind, my sis might want to see it
