Egypt has been an annual jaunt for about 8 years now, love the place and (job permitting) willtry and get out there again in May. Sharm is great from diving/snorkelling and the night life can be pretty good but it does tend to start late

The stamps in my passport certainly say Egypt. Also the hospital where Mubarak was kept for ages is in Sharm, the last time we were there there were police/soldiers every 10ft all around the hospital as we drove past

St Catherines monastery in sinai is some kind of autonomous church(the details escape me now) but sinai is part of egypt. oddly sinai is in asia not africa
