If I've got a goal, something I'm working towards, a deadline, then yes, I am.

Sometimes I have to completly cut distractions out of my life for a while.

But apart from that, then no

I'd do pretty much anything for friends, bend over backwards to help people when I can

I can be selfish at times I think, generally if I know the opposite to that will have a detrimental impact on my mental health/wellbeing.

Moreso though I question if I'm being a cunt, and agree to things I may not want to do,

don't take the "selfish" route and then wish I had!

I wouldn't say I'm self obsessed as such, but I do worry about the impact certain things will have on me, and I do think "what about/have you thought about me?"

Can you imagine that tho? Be realistic in terms of how badly that could end.

If 100 women replied with why they weren't interested and each one had a different reason, the person would end up thinking they had absolutely fuck all going for them or to offer.

My profile clearly states my preferences and reasons I will not reply to some messages.

SO FAR TODAY

I do not find short men attractive, but I've had 52 messages today from men under 5'10

I don't do instant meets, fuck & go's, but I've had 27 offers from men on hotels or looking for a quick fuck this afternoon/evening

I don't accomadate, but I've had 19 men assume, I'll let them into my home, where my children are

Another 15 have included cock pics

17 have included face pics between 9 & 5yrs old

That's 130 men, that have either not read my profile, or ignored it.

I don't owe them anything

I don't need to waste my time reply, saying no thanks, and giving them a reason

However, the 14 men who did send polite messages, had obviously read my profile, and fitted what I am looking for.

Yeah, to be quite frank I can be both of those things. As a child I was taught to be selfless at all costs. It cost me my mental health and was very close to costing me my life. I've learned to be healthily selfish now, to give and take and to consider the consequences to myself when people want things from me.

When I'm down I'm self-absorbed. I can get stuck on a loop in my head which is difficult to break.

We get 100s of messages per day, I would spend all my day writing to people to say why I'm not interested!! I don't want to spend the time on fab messaging the ones I'm not interested in, but speaking to and building up something with the ones I want to meet doesn't make me self obsessed. It's called time efficiency!
