My view on this is that the profile pic shouldn't be too explicit, but anything goes within the profile.

This lets everyone choose whether they want to see those explicit pics.

Having them as your profile pic forces people to look, which I think is rude tbh

I automatically delete messages from profiles with explicit profile pics.
