Not as much as I did previously! Far to much money spent on players wages and transfers now. I do enjoy watching the playoffs though and early rounds of the FA cup.

I love sport, looking forward to the Champion League Final and the FA Cup Final. But I understand why others wouldn't.

I always said if I won the lottery I would devote my life to sport (and crossdressing

The world would be a sad place if we all liked the same things OP, revel in the things that you do enjoy, whatever they may be.

Personally I love sport, the passion and 'plot twists', stories within stories... I see it as real life drama played out by athletes.

It's not for me. I've found over the years having no knowlage of football is actually a little problematic for a man. It is the default conversation, especially with strangers. And there's been loads of conversations I've not been able to join in with other men. Also when abroad often the first things locals want to talk about is English football.

Not really. My gripe with football is I have to put up with hearing about it everyday as it's all they talk about at work. I get the impression there is this mentality that footy fans feel they can be as thuggish as they like if there team wins a match.

At least with other sports like tennis and cricket; which I'm imo are also a waste of time and always going on about love juice and mental scoring systems, you don't hear of anyone being cut up with razor blades after a match.

Ah the monthly let’s bash football thread. It’s fine not to like it, it’s not for everyone.

What I don’t understand is the weak minded negative comments about the people that do play, comparing it to other sports and the ‘real men’ tag or worse.

As someone who played at a very high academy level through my teens but wasn’t good enough to make a career from it, believe me it is not a soft sport and it requires as much dedication if not more than any other sport to make it

I love most sports.... Football isn't perhaps what it used to be, but has given us (the fans) of football some great memories over the years.... I've travelled all over the country and Europe with great friends and enjoyed some fabulous trips.... I wouldn't trade that time for anything....

I also enjoy US sport, cricket and golf.... And the odd motor racing such as the Indy 500

I enjoyed watching it when I played in the local league, but only really watch important internationals now.

Used to be a fan as a kid but nowdays I struggle to see the appeal of it, as there's such a disconect from premiership players / boards and the clubs' fans.

It's a funny old game, I've always despised it with a passion, my older brothers played it and as a child I would get dragged to games to stand in the cold to watch them. As an adult male (don't laugh) I hate it even more, its like a club where you need to know the scores, transfers, league tables and exact time of every goal since 1950 to be a member and a lot of blokes use it as their manliness tool when talking with other guys. I often get left out of conversations with guy frienda or with guys at work because I don't follow football, or maybe it's just because I'm a sarcastic bastard, innit....
