Bloody cold sores, they ruin your fun! (At least for a few days)

This got me thinking of all sorts of “remedies” that people use when they are not 100% eg colds, flu etc. So, what are your go to remedies when you’re under the weather? What do you swear by?

My goto for hangover = flat lucozade orange - my rationale: fluid surrounding brain is made up of glucose and water. I know it’s still relevant to dehydration but for me it works.

Yes I have lots of remedies... Echinacea is awesome for the onset of colds and flu like symptoms but need to indigest it early on for maximum effect. I make my own but you can buy tablet or spray form in any health shops

"Can’t you just go to Boots ?"

I wasn’t asking for advice on a cold sore I can manage that.

My question was generically around peoples go to ‘home remedies’ when they feel unwell or under the weather as you hear of wired and wacky things.

Take lysine everyday to prevent coldsores.

For general mehness, toast - and plenty of it

For the sniffles, hot lemonade

For a full on cold, whiskey, hot water, lemon juice, honey
