Basildon

Hey everyone, I'm looking to explore a bit more of this green and pleasant land of ours and would love some recommendations as to where to go see!

I love the sea, city breaks, the countryside and love taking in museums!

Appreciate the help!

East Yorkshire

Just get out there and explore - it is all amazing, except London.

As a general rule the further north or west you go the better in my opinion. Cornwall, Devon and Dorset for west, Yorkshire, Cumbria and Northumberland for north. And then there is always Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.

.

Royal Deeside - drive up or if you fly up hire a car. And visit the Cairngorms as well. Aberdeen is a fantastic city and you have beaches with dunes and museums aplenty.

Or Northumberland is absolutely stunning.

Cambridgeshire - fuck ton of museums, go and visit Ely and one of the best bookshops in the country. Beautiful countryside.

Another for Lake District. One of my favourite places to stay.
