It felt good to share the emotions, all be it mostly difficult ones but to know we all had that shared experience felt really supportive and to hear people's own stories was really uplifting at times. "Hearing someone talk about what makes them imperfect is far more beautiful than any picture or self promotion. Maybe I'm soft.. but I like people that give you a little insight into what makes them who they are. " I agree, honesty is a beautiful thing and has a certain clarity to it which is obvious. Yes it can make you vulnerable but I think that doing that helps you know who to trust and who is worthy of your support in return. | |||

Again a generalisation What's what iv noticed, my partner is older than me and our trust, use and attitude of social media and the Internet in general is very different. " I don't want to hijack this thread but my parents are obviously very elderly and I have to closely monitor what they reveal on Facebook etc. They have absolutely no understanding of the consequences. I think that sometimes people of all ages don't consider the possible future implications of what they reveal. | |||

" The relative anonymity of here is a better place for me to open up when I just want to get something out without all the 'whats up hun' of facebook sharks or worrying family. I wouldnt go all out and reveal all I dont think though. | |||

 I am open about my weaknesses and flaws to the right people and when they also reveal something about themselves that they consider a weakness whether accidentally or not it feels amazing to be entrusted with that information xxx | |||
