I think I was watching different semi finals then...

The championship is definitely a great league though, more so than the rest of Europe.

I’m a Villa fan and my ticket for the final has already been booked, I’m more confident than last year when we froze against Fulham, but I’m not getting carried away.

I really enjoyed last night’s game and out of the two I’m happier to be playing Derby rather than Dirty Leeds. Across the two league games this season we beat them 4-0 and 3-0 so hopefully the old football adage that you never beat the same team three times in a season won’t apply.

I like Frank Lampard, he seems a genuine bloke and I hope that for the sake of both clubs and their long suffering fans the media don’t turn it into the Lampard v Terry show. It’s more than that, and yes I’m pointing my finger at you Sky Sports!
