Nah I used to speak to someone who was the complete opposite of their forum persona. I called them out on it (privately) and they said they basically wanted everyone to like them on the forums so agreed with the majority. I won’t go into detail as it’s not fair, but I liked them way better in private. Didn't like their forum personality whatsoever. They were very hypocritical and judgemental

I don’t think my forum persona is like the real me. I have far too much time to think before I type a thread response. In real life I don’t.

I’m more intense, more nervous, less attempts to be humorous and less articulate in real life. I’m also nastier and more duplicitous. My pictures look much better than I do face to face, I can’t filter and turn myself in a black/white image using clever angles, cropping and vignettes to hide a multitude of sins.

I had a 4.5 year break from this site. I was verified by 4 women (the 4 I met) when I logged back in 3 of them have disappeared and the last verification is over 4 years ago.

Most probably why I struggle to get meets. I mean who’d meet a profile that hasn’t been verified in 4 years right ??

I had a 4.5 year break from this site. I was verified by 4 women (the 4 I met) when I logged back in 3 of them have disappeared and the last verification is over 4 years ago.

Most probably why I struggle to get meets. I mean who’d meet a profile that hasn’t been verified in 4 years right ??

I think that what I post is true of me at that time and people will interpret it based on a fuck load of other things. I've met forumites both past and present who will say I am how they see me to be on the forum. And then there will be those who think I am nothing like it. You get a vibe off someone when you start chatting generally and the ones we actually meet have been great people. Are they exactly the same as on here though? No... The same as us. In my experience as a single and a couple you really can't tell till you met people in person. People don't always come a cross on here how they are in real life. I/we (Me and My Girl) have met people in clubs and parties that we've seen on FAB. Some we've not really be intrested in when we've seen their profile, but when we bumped into them in real life we got on great. Likewise others that we've love the profile but when we got talking to them their not what we thought they where.

We have plenty of verifications that prove we are who we say we are. I’m however still a little doubtful. I’m almost certain that I was swapped on the 9 of August last year entering a B&Q store during an electrical storm.
