Aspartame and acesulfame K are bad!

They were invented in the 50's as an appetite suppressor.

Diet and similar drinks that contain them change chemically when heated (how many of you leave the drink in the car and still drink it when its warm?).

When I used to work around the country I lived on diet etc and always left it in the car and drank it whether it had been heated by the sun or whatever. I started suffering with painful stomache cramps and other symptoms.

It was the diet and the drinks with aspartame and acesulfame K that were doing it, it can cause other problems to as the chemical change caused by heat makes slightly poisonous!

I'm sure if you do your research you will find the relevent information on this.

Have a look for a new sugar substitute called Stevia. Its a natural plant leaf extract and its apparently almost zero calories and all natural.

I remember reading about diet being left out in high temperatures during the first Gulf war and the chemical changes turned it carcinogenic.

Aspartame - Defo stay clear. It is around 180 x the strength of sugar, the body doesn,t break it down properly.

And as suggested it is a known carcinogenic.

Never mind the doom/gloom aspect of this you'd be wise to avoid it.

Further info go on gurgle vids - Aspartame - Sweet Misery

It is rife in all no added sugar cordials, fizzy drinks, chewing gum and a lot of yoghurts.

Have you read a book called "Skinny Bitch" Its written by two american authors and based on this thread I am sure you'd find it interesting.

It's Rumsfelds baby too.

If you really want dirt on the bastard look into ABB and his status within the business.

Then the fact that they supply North Korea with key elements that they use for building their nuclear arsenal

All this from an ex US secretary of defence.

Wake up.

Google the side effects that have been documented from it.

If it sounds too good to be true......
