So the Glasweigan accent has been voted in at no 3..... not sure I agree haha

The Essex accent came out on top as the sexiest in the UK, with Northern Irish in close second and Glasgow making the top three.

Which accent do you find sexiest??

East Yorkshire

Geordie normally comes out top, that's one of the reasons there are so many call centres in that area - seen as a friendly or sexy accent.

Anyone who said Essex, well, no comment.

Personally a lovely soft Welsh lilt does it for me

Well between us we have Essex with a hint of Yam (P) and Teesside (kind of like a softer Geordie) (B) so we probably have a few bases covered at least...

"I love dialect and accents. I love most as I said previously so long as they are softly spoken as such. I have a thing for Manchester at the moment. Does anyone else mimic accents? I’m bad for it and don’t know I’m doing it, but in work if someone comes in with an accent I suddenly start talking like them ,,,, call me polly

Pull my finger on here is epic at accents. The only one he can't seem to do is my accent haha

I’m good at them, but can only say a few words and then go back to my scouse

I'm shit haha. Everything always sounds like I'm speaking in an indian accent, when i try

I was going to say I always end up sounding Pakistani or Indian.

What I don't get is how other nations can get English and Aussie accents similar "

What I don’t get is how anyone regardless of language when they sing they sound English as such! Lewis capalidi is great example

My mates were on a train in Canada, talking to each other, and two women turned around and asked them if they were speaking English... so it happens

I don’t think I have an accent but I’m told I do, it’s pretty much a Home Counties meets Patsy (Ab Fabs) in my view...

Have to say I’m partial to the soft Irish & Geordie accents...

True. If their personality is unattractive, their accent would not register

I sometimes associate accents with memories. One of my better early sexual experiences had an unusual accent for the place I lived at the time. To this day, I hear that accent and get a bit gooey

I’m a sucker for a London accent. But I’m a cockney living in Manchester so I suppose it’s just me missing home!

As long as I can understand them I’m happy.

Although on holiday once I was chatting to two beautiful Irish ladies in a bar and their voices mesmerised me that I didn’t hear a word they were saying lol I remember actually saying so sorry I haven’t heard a word you’ve said when they were waiting for an answer.
